The material is shock-resistant, durable and physiologically safe (the materials used comply with FDA standards), and the cleaning and maintenance of modular belts are straightforward.
The Siegling Prolink System is comprised of ten lines boasting a functional design for a host of applications. The hinge pins connect individual modules. This allows for great variation. In terms of users’ needs the following elements are customizable:
- Adjustable width and length;
- Easy repair;
- Minimum stock.

Selecting different materials is another way of customising the belts to suit the special applications in which modular belts are required. Thanks to the high-level of customisation, Siegling Prolink meets all theoretical requirements in terms of:
- Conveying;
- Positioning;
- Maintenance;
- Drying;
- Freezing etc.
Siegling PROLINK modules are made of standard materials that are FDA certified:
- Polyethylene (PE);
- Polypropylene (PP);
- Polyoxymethylene/Polyacetal (POM).
Special materials in module belts are:
- POM-CR – POM, resistant against cuts and impact, for meat processing facilities;
- POM-HC – conductive POM for the electronic industry;
- POM-MD – metal detector POM;
- PA 6.6-HT – polyamide, resistant against high temperatures;
- PBT – Polybutylenterephthalate.
