MDF boards– Medium-Density Fibreboards – are similar in appearance to raw particle boards. MDF is short for medium density fibreboards. They are made of wood fibre (beech, spruce and fir) with the addition of resin.
OSB boards – Oriented Strand Boards – are made by compressing layers of wood strands.Wood strands on the external layers run in parallel to the panel's length, while strands in the internal layers are perpendicular to the external layer or run in random directions.
